    Alhamra Arts Centre

    Less than 500m east of the Avari hotel, the Alhamra has three theatre halls and is Lahore's main centre for musical, dramatic and other performing arts. Tickets for a drama performance usually cost between Rs120 and Rs300. The Centre also has short courses (around three months; advance bookings essential) in painting, tabla (drums), sitar, harmonium, guitar, violin and singing. Telephone for fee details.
