Introducing Ayub National Park
Named after General Ayub Khan, the first of Pakistan’s martial law administrators, this rather staid park (Grand Trunk Rd) south of the Cantonment has 900 hectares of paths, gardens and lakes (with hire boats). To get here, take an airport-bound Suzuki from Rawalpindi and get off at Kucheri Chowk, then take the right fork and travel for about 1km.
