Port Hedland Yacht Club
Locals loved the old tin Yachtie for its cheap drinks, great Thai kitchen and water views. A swish new replacement was being built next door, so expect prices to rise accordingly.

Close to the town centre, the Club ain't fancy, but you can rely on satisfying bistro meals (steak, schnitzel and barra), and the kids are welcome. Wednesday is steak night; Thursday it's schnitzels. Sign in as a visitor at the fortresslike front desk, or find a member to tag along with.
