   Before the earthquakes, Christchurch had a thriving eating and drinking scene in the bricklined thoroughfares around SOL Sq and Lichfield Lane. At the time of research these areas were still cordoned off, but the Wood's Mill precinct in Addington was being repurposed as a similar precinct. The area is scheduled to open in mid-2012.
