Near the airport on a flat stretch of turf, this particularly friendly campsite overlooks Isfjorden and the glaciers beyond and has a kitchen and showers. It's about an hour's walk from town. You can also hire a tent (per night Nkr150), mattress (Nkr10) and sleeping bag (Nkr50). There are no cabins, but it does issue certificates for those who bathe naked in the fjord…
