Italian restaurants in Norway

  1. A

    Baltazar

Located in the bazaar halls of the cathedral, Baltazar serves up Italian classics, homemade pasta and good wine. During the summer (when the owners are in Lucca, Italy), the main restaurant is closed and lunch is served at Trattoria Cappuccino in the leafy courtyard behind the cathedral.

  2. Buona Sera

The Italian-oriented Buona Sera predictably specialises in pizzas and pasta, yet has much more character than most Norwegian pizza joints. All wood, with intimate crannies and friendly staff, it also does crispy salads (Nkr100) and juicy meat mains (around Nkr175).

    Jonas B Gundersen

At this good restaurant the menus look like vinyl records, there’s an unmistakable New Orleans jazz feel and the food includes imaginative salads and mostly Italian dishes.
