Norway's oldest restaurant's sagging yellow, wooden walls and pretty interior court provide an excellent backdrop for traditional meals. Don't try for a table on 17 May or Christmas.

    junejunetravel does not recommend this,

    this is the WORSE restaurant I have never been. The food is fine. But the attitude of the staffs are worse. When I paid the bill, I didnt pay attention of how much the change will be when the staff asked me if I need the change back. After 10 min, the staff gave me back the change and when I opened the folder, there are more than 20 coins in total of 11kr. Then I relaized why he asked me if I want the change, that should be he WAS asking me for the TIPS. I do not mind to pay tips, but not in this way. I will post this on different travel post and let travelers know about this. And I guess this is what the staffs want me to do.
