Lonely Planet review for Nordland Museum

The small Nordland Museum has a droll 20-minute film on the history of Bodø with English subtitles. Highlights of the collection are silver items from Viking times. Other exhibits cover Sami culture, the history of women in northern Norway, regional fishing culture and natural history.

    embarrassing

    evrydike does not recommend this,

    the exhibits are static and outdated, have not been changed for years. the museum needs revival, and professional assistance at doing so. not worth visiting until some serious change has been made. the nature surrounding bodø, however, is glorious!
