    This historic family hotel at the eastern end of town is one of the best hotel-restaurant combinations in Norway. It is known for formerly being the home kitchen of the renowned Norwegian chef Arne Brimi (open to and to ). Now under the care of Brimi's protégés, the traditional Norwegian food is exquisite. Specialties include wild trout, reindeer, elk and ptarmigan. The lunch buffets are highly recommended, while the evening meals consist of three-/four-course set menus.
