    Bike trails have been meticulously laid out from one end of Vestfold to the other. The tourist office hires bicycles and sells the indispensable three-part map Sykkelkart Vestfold for NOK100.

  5. Rail-Bicycle Ride

    Take this ride along the 13km railway between Sannidal and Merkebekk. Rail-bikes (dressin, or bicycles on bogies) cost around NOK75/around NOK230 per hour/day. Book through Støa Camping or ask at the tourist office.

    To rent bikes (Nkr420 to Nkr820 depending on the date and type of bike) ready for the Rallarvegen challenge, contact Finse 1222; bikes must be booked before arriving in Finse due to high demand in summer and prices include the return bike transportation fee on the train.

It is a local club and not really set up for tourists, but members are happy to help if they can. Ring the bell 10m to the right of the door if it looks closed.
