    African Heritage Cultural Arts Center

    This huge multipurpose area includes a 300-seat concert hall, dance studio and the Amladozi Gallery, which regularly features the work of African-American, Afro-Caribbeanand plain African artists. Call ahead and plan a visit during the frequent concerts and dance recitals held throughout the year.

    Lienzo Charros de Jalisco

    Charreadas (rodeos) are held at noon most Sundays in this ring behind Parque Agua Azul. Charros (cowboys) come from all over Jalisco and Mexico to wrestle and rope cows. Escaramuza (female stunt riding) teams perform daring side- saddle displays, often showing more riding skill than the charros !

    Massey Hall

    Landmark redbrick Massey Hall, festooned with fire escapes, was given to the city in 1894 by industrial baron Hart Massey. Orators, explorers and other famous faces (including Oscar Wilde, George Gershwin, Charlie Mingus and the Dalai Lama) have all appeared on its stage. The acoustics are superb, a fact not lost on occasional performers the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
