Havana
The granddaddy of dining on the Drive has still got it, hence its buzzing patio on most summer nights. It combines a rustic Latin American ambience – peruse the graffiti signatures scratched into the walls – with a roster of satisfying Afro-Cuban-southern soul-food dishes, with highlights ranging from yam fries to slow-roasted lamb curry and perfect platters of clams, mussels and oysters. Port, brandy and single malt color the drinks list but the mojito pitchers slide down very easily on those lazy, sunset-hugging evenings. Arrive early to beat the patio crowds.

Jaguar
- Miami, USA
- Restaurants › Latin
The menu spans the Latin world, but really, everyone's here for the ceviche 'spoon bar.' The idea: pick from six styles of ceviche (raw, marinated seafood), ranging from swordfish with cilantro to corvina in lime juice, and pull a culinary version of DIY. It's novel and fun, and the $2 ceviche varieties are pretty damn delicious. Other mains include different kinds of grilled meats and fish – endearing in their simplicity, but lacking the tasty complexity of the ceviche.

Enriqueta's
- Miami, USA
- Restaurants › Latin
Back in the day, Puerto Ricans, not installation artists, ruled Wynwood. Have a taste of those times in this perpetually packed roadhouse, where the Latin-diner ambience is as strong as the steaming shots of cortadito (Cuban-style coffee) served at the counter. Balance the local gallery fluff with a steak-and-potato-stick sandwich.

Yuca
- Miami, USA
- Restaurants › Latin
This was one of the first Nuevo Latino hot spots in Miami and it's still going strong, even if locals say it has lost a little luster over the years. The Yuca rellena (a mild chili stuffed with truffle-laced mushroom picadillo) and the tender guava ribs still make our mouth water.

Red Agave
Caribbean and Latin American cuisine is featured here; consider the Chinook salmon with quinoa, poblano chile relleno or green molé enchiladas. Four kinds of margaritas, along with exotic cocktails, help it all go down easy.

Habana Outpost
A solar-powered and self-styled 'eco-eatery,' Habana's a smallish cafe with a big courtyard and delicious Latin fare. Side dishes of plantains, yellow rice and grilled corn go perfectly with burritos, quesadillas and enchiladas. Goes without saying that the food is organic.
