Tavern in the Grove

To say this sweatbox is popular with University of Miami students is like saying it rains sometimes in England. More of a neighborhood dive on weekdays.

Taurus
- Miami, USA
- Entertainment › Bar
The oldest bar in Coconut Grove is a cool mix of wood-paneling, smoky leather chairs, about 100 beers to choose from and a convivial vibe – as neighborhood bars go in Miami, this is one of the best.

Seven Seas
- Miami, USA
- Entertainment › Bar
Seven Seas is a genuine Miami neighborhood dive, decorated on the inside like a nautical theme park and filled with University of Miami students, Cuban workers, gays, straights, lesbians and folks from around the way. The best times to come are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for the best karaoke in Miami – there's plenty of Spanish-language music, which adds some Latin spice.
