Tour description provided by Viator

Take an exhilarating ride down Jasper's mighty Fraser River! On this 5-hour whitewater rafting tour, you'll have a heart-pumping time rafting down Class-3 rapids surrounded by awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies scenery. Keep an eye out for wildlife and spawning salmon!

While visiting Jasper, in the epic Canadian Rockies, experience the thrill you can get from nature on this whitewater rafting trip down the Fraser River.

From your launching point in the shadow of Mt Robson, take off down the Fraser River, which serves up great rapids and swirling eddies bound to soak everyone on your raft! After a short portage (carrying your raft over land to avoid dangerous obstacles) around thundering Rearguard Falls, you will continue down the river, splashing through large rapids dwarfed by the steep canyon walls. This trip provides great opportunities to spot wildlife and seasonal spawning salmon.

Rapids are classed from 1 to 6, 6 being the most difficult. This tour takes you down Class-3 rapids, which are considered intermediate, making this an exciting, wet and adrenaline-producing trip for all experience levels. Rafters must be 12 years of age or older and weight at least 90 lbs (41 kgs).
