Vegetarians suffer a lot in Nigeria, but this Indian restaurant really comes to the rescue. With tasty and filling portions at good prices, the Sherlaton is generally considered to be the city's best curry option.

    Paradise for Indian food lovers

    Any person travelling first time to Lagos is a whole lot worried about he/she will survive in Lagos. The law and order situation in Lagos is not as bad as compared to a few years ago but getting the right food to survive remains a big question and especially so for the vegetarians who have very limited options in Lagos.

    For any Indian vegetarian coming to Lagos, Sherlaton restaurant is a must must visit and if you are staying in New Castle Hotel ( the restaurant is situated in this hotel) nothing better. The preparations are comparable to what you get in India and at times even better than what one will get in India.

    Under the supervision of Mr. Rana and Mr. Sharma, the Head Chefs the restaurant serves excellent food. Starting from Chole Puri, Dosa, Uttapam, Aloo Parantha etc. for breakfast almost all the Indian dishes are available throughout the day.

    Dal Makhani served in this restaurant can any day give a good fight to the famous Dal Bukhara. The buffet served on every Sunday is very famous with the Indian families living in Lagos and most of the time the restaurant is jam packed.
