I've read so many topics and I'm almost ready to put down an itinerary, I'm not sure of a few things though, especially how to reach some places, so please give me some advices :)
Me and my boyfriend are gonna travel through Nicaragua for about 16 days in august, we would like to see a little of everything.
We were thinking:
- Leon 3 nights (city, cerro negro and telica overnight)
- Somoto Canyon 2 nights
- Granada 3 nights (city, mombacho volcano, masaya volcano+pueblos…
We are flying into Liberia, Costa Rica mid August and then going to meet up with a friend and her daughter near Playa Santana, Nicaragua. I have lot of questions that I will keep trying to research but will also ask as many of them as I can here. 1.) What is the best way to get from Liberia, CR to Nicaragua and then on to the Tola beaches? 2.)What is that area like? Is the water too rough for swimming? Only good for surfing? 3.) What are good day trips in Nicaragua from that area? 4.)and what…
Has anyone got any advice about travelling from Managua to Samara in Costa Rica? We would love to do it in a day, and are happy to spend a bit of cash on car hire if that makes it do-able. Does anyone know if there's a Ticabus service down to Samara and if so where I can find information about it from - I've looked at the website and found nothing.
Thanks in advance!
If you have to choose... would you combine Nicaragua with El Salvador or with Honduras?
I have only 3 weeks and I arrive and leave from Managua airport in Nicaragua. Can't choose...
What would be the best itinerary?
Hello! In November I will fly to Managua - Nicaragua and 3 weeks later I fly back home from this airport. I'm trying to figure out how I should spend my time. I would like to see as much as possible (as it's not likely I can go there another time), but I know 3 weeks is way to short to see it all... Nevertheless I would like to try. ;) Is it possible tot visit these 3 countries, Nicaragua + El Salvador + Honduras, with focus on Nica? I would like to see the following places:
Currently in Leon. Does anyone have any advice on CHEAP motorbike / scooter hire? Anywhere for under $15 per day? We will be in Nicaragua for at least a month. Thanks
We will travel to Nicaragua between late July and August for 2 weeks and a half.
We are asking for your help to define a good itinerary which includes colonial cities, hiking, birdwatching and secluded beaches. We are looking for authentic, uncrowded places and with which to exploit the fact that we hired a Suzuki Jimmy for the entire period.
What do you think of this preliminary route? How can we improve it?
1st day - Arrival in Managua late evening
2 - Jimmy withdrawal in the morning…
