Hotel Con Corazón
Lonely Planet review
An elegant nonprofit hotel that directs earnings to the development of local educational programs. The rooms are simple and pleasing, spacious enough without being luxurious. The building itself blends modern and traditional styles to perfection, with much of the decoration coming from recycled materials made by local craftspeople. Ask about volunteer ops here.
It has salsa classes on Monday nights that are open to the public.
