Hotel Con Corazon

In a large, tastefully renovated building a few blocks from the central park, one of Granada's newest hotels is also one of its most stylish, with a minimalist approach that is as comfortable as it is aesthetically pleasing.

The Corazon's rooms are simple and elegant, spacious enough without going overboard. The building blends traditional and modern styles to perfection, with much of the decoration and fittings made from recycled materials salvaged during renovation. There's an on-site restaurant serving simple meals made from fresh local produce in a light and airy dining room. Out back, a good-sized swimming pool awaits, with deck chairs and a little thatched-roof bar. The icing on the cake is that the hotel is set up as an NGO and all profits go to the development of local schools, micro-credit loans and small business incubation.
