My wife and I are looking to do a four week Spanish school home stay in Granada. Could anyone please recommend or warn me about any Spanish schools in Granada.
Hey! ! My family and I are on a one year trip around the world . We are in Ecuador now, but go to Brazil in two weeks. After two months in Brazil , the idea is to go to Nicaragua. After one to two months, we move on to Mexico just for some days, by plane from San José, CR, because it's cheaper. What I really should ask about was : Is it possible to get from one place to the south - Nicaragua to San José via Monteverde by bus ? Or are there other possibilities ?:
Hello! I travel with my family around the world. We try to find nice and safe places around. We have stayed in Vilcabamba, Loja, Ecuador in three months soon, and moving to South Brazil in two weeks. Ecuador was the frist stop on this trip and we think it's very beautiful nature, nice peoples, and a small cozy town/village. We go to Brazil to experience a different way of living. And to be on the beaches to swim of course:) Are Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis and Paraty nice places to do those…

My boyfriend and I will be traveling to nicaragua in January for 11 days.
We want to do Granada, Leon, Ometepe, and Little Corn. Whats the best way to go about this?
How many days is each place?
And travel between? Any ideas would be appreciated!
Traveling for a week in mid November... looking to stay more or less in one place. Hoping to minimize time wasted on travel although don't mind a bit of a trek to and from airport each way. Only requirements are a great beach and some hammocks. Have travelled lots but never in central america - really don't need anywhere fancy, just relatively clean with a good vibe (although hopefully not full on spring break-esque party scene). Would be ideal to surf a bit but not a must. Torn between Panama,…
I wrote a while back about the pros and cons of Leon and Granada... Meanwhile, I have had more time to think and plan. Here is my itinerary. It is quite heavy on hikes in the north's relative cool for the first week and then we move into the heat on the second week. I am not a lover of excessive heat.
I have spent more time thinking about the first week in the mountains than the second week... I am thinking there are plenty of day trips to do out of Granada but also wondering if I…
I arrive MGA at 7:30pm. I'm guessing I could arrive UCA at 9pm. How late do the microbuses run from UCA to Leon? If they're not running that late, should I look into other options or stay the night in Managua and leave to Leon in the morning. Thanks all!
