Lonely Planet review for Flying Burrito Brothers
Let it all hang out at this lively Tex-Mex cantina. Quesadillas, tortillas, tacos and tostadas laced with avocado and chilli, plus bocaditos (small bites, like tapas) and a kids menu, too. The extensive (and informative) tequila menu and premium margaritas will give you lift-off.

Frozen Margaritas to die for
melanie42 recommends this,
The food is delicious, service is perfecto, but the frozen margaritas are what keep me going back. Get a pitcher of margarita made up of your 2 favourite fruits, or ask the staff for the best combo. My favourite is Feijoa - a highly popular fruit in New Zealand.

One of my Favourite restaurants
toodlez recommends this,
I have found it very difficult to find good Mexican food in New Zealand. I'm not sure why this is. Flying Burrito Brothers is the best Mexican restaurant I have found in NZ so far. Fantastic food and great service. They also have a variety of options if you are a vegetarian. Plus they are all reasonably priced (for Wellington restaurants that is) between $20 and $30 for a main. If you are in a group you can book a small room they have.
The only problem is that because it is popular it can be quite nosy at times and it can take a while to get a table. However, they do have a fantastic bar. Definitely try their frozen Margaritas while you wait.Good for: atmosphere, food, Groups, Solo Travellers, service, Families
