Lonely Planet review for Cafe L’Affare

Cafe L’Affare is the centre of a small empire, from which its own beans are roasted and distributed. Its Professor Brainstorm–emporium interior is a hive of activity, with speedy baristas, crowded communal tables and a disco ball. At weekends, kids aplenty add to the cacophony, but everyone adds their cheery thanks to snappy service and wicked brekkies of eggie excellence.

    Caffiene addict heaven

    onelungwonder recommends this,

A clever concept pioneered by L'Afarre to lure crowds of caffeine-craving corporates and lunchtime mothers to their doors by the wafting sweetness of roasting coffee beans. The cafe is more museum than a local coffee haunt, relics and memorabilia decorate the walls and tables and is a haven for people of all classes and social standing with one thing in common... their obvious addiction to L'Afarre coffee blends. If you are wanting a quick bite to eat while you enjoy a sip of your morning heaven do try the eggs benedict with salmon, always exceptionally good and don't forget to purchase a bag of roasted beans for that perfect blend at home...
