Escape the city to explore Wellington's South Coast at dusk before driving up through Mount Victoria's Greenbelt for fantastic views of the city lights. You can experience a glow worm walk by torch light through Otari - Wiltons bush and finish at the Top of the Cable Car view.

Your Twilight Tour departs about 45 minutes before sundown. Within minutes of escaping the city center you are driving through historic suburbs to the aptly named Happy Valley. Only 5 minutes later you will find yourselves on Wellington's dramatic South Coast. As you look past mountains plunging into the sea you can make out the South Island disappearing into dusk.

You are able to spend a few minutes down on the beach, fossicking through the rocks, searching for dolphins or just taking in the scenery. Next you will drive the coast for a few kilometers before climbing through the green belt for fantastic 360' views of Wellington from Mount Victoria. The city lights are on and Wellington looks fantastic. We will help you get your bearings and tell a few tales before exploring some of Wellington's prestigious suburbs on our way to Otari-Wiltons Bush searching for glow-worms.

After a short forest walk with the light of the worms to guide you, back into the vehicle to be dropped off at you accommodation, a restaurant or maybe the theatre.
