InterCity (03-365 1113; www.intercity.co.nz) and Atomic Shuttles (03-322 8883; www.atomictravel.co.nz) buses stop at the visitor information centre on their Fox to Wanaka runs. TrackNET(0800 483 262, 03-249 7777; www.tracknet.net) also swings through linking Queenstown and Greymouth.

Naked Bus (www.nakedbus.com) runs north to the glaciers, Hokitika and Greymouth, and south to Queenstown, stopping at Wanaka.
