Lonely Planet review
There’s luxury infused between the masonry at this elegantly restored Edwardian building (a rare brick earthquake survivor). Chambers restaurant breathes refined formality at dinner (mains $30 to $40) while Winston’s portrait gazes victoriously over Churchill’s Champagne and Snug Bar.
Our independent authors have visited The County Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Napier.
