The Polynesian Spa is in the Government Gardens. A bathhouse was opened at these springs in 1882 and people have been swearing by the waters ever since. There is mineral bathing (36°C to 42°C) in several picturesque pools at the lake’s edge, marble-lined terraced pools and a larger, main pool. Also housed in the modern complex are several more commercial activities such as luxury therapies (massage, mud and beauty treatments) as well as a cafe and gift shop.

    不愧是世界十大温泉，就是和别的地方不一样，极度建议！

    周末来到罗托鲁阿，慕名来到Polynesian Spa ，起初觉得挺一般的。后面一进去了之后就感觉到了不同的气息。前台服务员非常细心的讲解了每个区域的情况和价格，还给我们一些建议。我们最后选择了成人池，因为里面有神父温泉，据说那个温泉有治疗作用（对肌肉，关节，风湿等），区域挺大的，7个池子，其中一个游泳池。在湖畔还有一个温泉池，那天挺冷的可是太阳非常好，泡在温泉里很享受啊～！泡完了温泉以后，应我们要求，服务员还带我们参观了其他的几个区域，特别是湖滨温泉池，好豪华啊！像是在花园里泡澡一样。水质一流，服务一流。超顶！激励建议朋友们去见识一下。

    Le Bain Prive de Luxe: La meilleure option des amoureux !

    Mon mari et moi avons passe une formidable soiree en amoureux, apres avoir dinne dans un petit restaurant chic du centre ville, nous avons profite du couche du soleil, tout en se relaxant dans un bain naturel prive d'eau thermale a 39C pendant une demie-heure, le pied ! La vue sur le lac a donne a ce moment precieux toute sa majeste ! Le ciel rose du couchant, les envols des goelhans se regroupant pour la nuit, les lumieres de la ville en fond de paysage et l'impression d'etre seuls au monde avec la nature qui s'offre a nous. Inoubliable !

    Pure bliss; relaxation and mineral bathing at its finest!

    I was booked in at the Spa Retreat for a unique Aix Spa treatment, but was informed to arrive an hour early for a soak in the deluxe bathing area known as the Lake Spa. With the option of 4 different pools at different temperatures and also breathtaking panoramic lake views it was a wonderful start to my treatment. The changing rooms are well appointed with soaps, body wash etc and I had a cosy fluffy robe to wear.

    I had a unique Aix treatment with massage under hot water jets, amazing smelling massage oils and a friendly professional therapist who made sure I was totally comfortable, relaxed, and well informed of the treatment process.

    The cafe served excellent coffee and I also picked up some great gifts for friends and family back home at the spa shop which were beautifully gift wrapped free of charge.

    Absolutely recommend and can't wait to visit again.

    Brilliant hot dip

    We spend a whole day mountain biking in the Redwoods and were pretty tired afterwards. At our hotel in town they recommended going to the spa which was just accross the road from them. It was the best! We didn't want to leave. Loved the pools and the Lake views. It was open till late and had the best sleep ever after that! Very relaxing. We went back the next day for another hot dip and no doubt we will be back next year!

    Had a great time with a groups of friends in the Adult Pools & Priest Spa which is Adults only - bliss! Free Wi-Fi from the cafe on site topped off the visit.

    Fantastic hot mineral bathing in the unique healing waters!

    You can choose from four different hot mineral bathing areas family, adults only, private or deluxe. My partner and I went in the deluxe bathing area and tried the hydro spa therapy with coconut oil in the retreat. Super relaxing! Really recommend it! The mineral water is really good for your skin, hair and nails. The gift shop on site sells good quality skin care products as well.
