You can reach Mt Maunganui across the harbour bridge from Tauranga or from the south via Te Maunga on SH2. Tauranga airport is at Mt Maunganui.

Supa Travel, Coastline Shuttles and Intercity all serve Tauranga. Their buses stop at Mt Maunganui i-SITE. Bay Hopper (0800 422 9287) buses run from Wharf St in Tauranga to the Mount, stopping at the i-SITE and hot pools.
