Lonely Planet review

This giant five-star joint is set right in the heart of town. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but believe us - it's all glitz and glamour inside.

Not only does this place have the top-notch facilities you'd expect, they've thought of a few new ones. Subtle browns and beiges make a cosy nest, especially when you add fur throws and an extra soft mattress. You've also got your own private idiot-proof espresso maker, plasma TV and a huge array of movies. It's hard not to feel like a glamour puss in the en suite's deliciously deep tub (complete with another flatscreen TV at its foot). And then there's the plush bathrobes and slippers that you'll be trying to squeeze into your luggage to take home. The decor is well thought out (nouveau-retro design), but the '70s-style wood panelling is truly unfortunate (they've even ensconced the elevator in it!). Head up to the wine-tasting bar and you'll forget all about it.
