best trip in nz beautiful scenery and loved driving the boat

My Parents and I did the full day trip during our stay in New Zealand over christmas this year. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing, from our guide (leicester) we learned about the marlborough sounds including mussel farming, the local bird life and the history of the area. The amount of freedom was great and Leicester encouraged everyone to drive the boats and have some fun doing it. We had heard there are occasionally dolphins in the sounds however they were not around on our day out but we did see a little blue penguin and a weka came down to join us for lunch on the beach! Leicester even gave us all photos of our day out for free! I would highly recommend this trip to everyone by far the best trip we did in NZ
