Lonely Planet review

What a whopper! Easily Kaikoura’s biggest hostel, the Dusky is an industrious, social place with facilities to cope (including three lounge areas and three kitchens). The crowning glory is the outdoor deck with heated pool, spa and mountain views. Live it up in ‘luxury doubles’ with en suite and flat-screen TV. There is also a restaurant on-site.
