   Eighteen kilometres west of Havelock is Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve, a pretty forest remnant and riverside recreation area. Explore its many tracks, take a dip in the limpid (but chilly) Pelorus River, or indulge in some home-baking at the cafe. Lucky campers can stay overnight in the wonderful DOC campsite, managed by the cafe owners.
