Getting there & away

Buses 28 and 35 run from Christchurch to Lyttelton (25 minutes). From Lyttelton by car, you can continue around Lyttelton Harbour on to Akaroa. This occasionally trying route is longer and more scenic than the route via SH75, between Christchurch and Akaroa.
