Hi all maybe doing a trip later in the year in November I have a couple of options available NZ being one of them, I was thinking along the lines,
Sydney to Auckland,
Auckland 3 nights - doing day trips - waiheke island, devonport, coromandel ? via public transport if feasable and explore the city
Rotorua - 3 nights -geysers, mountain bike tour, explore the town
fly to Queenstown - 3 nights - milford sound day trip, explore the city
I won't be hiring a car just using public transport, let me know…
Hello, my name is Diana, I'm 19 and I'm from Colombia. I want to start traveling around the word but I don't have any money. I heard that New Zealand was a great place to make some start up money and also to visit. Never the less I keep running with a lot of obstacles. Since I'm from Colombia I'm not eligible for a Working Holiday Visa and the Student and Work Visa required either enough money to support myself for my entire stay, to pay for a school or to have an offer from an employer, all…
Same old same old, but ya wanted to get some insights on the following plan. Me my wife and our 4 year old will be visiting NZ from Japan - Dec 23rd to Jan 7th. We generally prefer scenic places, drives and exploring local places. Not much of a adrenalie Junkie and so bungee and all those won't excite us much. Good local food and some local beer will though. So ya here's what we have been thinking -
Dec 23rd - Day 1 Auckland Arrival 1545
Chill in the city eat some local food
I'm in the very early planning stages of a trip to NZ in February 2019 (yes, I know - planning ahead, but its part of a 7 month trip, so there's a lot to plan!).
I'll be travelling with my husband and 2 kids (7 and 8). We have about a month, and planned to split it roughly 20 days in SI and 10 days in NI.
I was thinking of doing a figure of 8 circuit in SI, something like this....
1-2 Arrive Christchurch from Melbourne. Explore
3 Mt Cook
6 Te anau
7 Daytrip to Milford Sound
I wanna travel to New Zealand with working visa. I was just wondering what kind of job situation there is?
Does anyone has any experience? Is it easy to get a job or is the money good? Can I really save some money in there?
Because I have heard that NZ is very expensive and wages are not so good..
Hi, we are heading over to NZ in the last two weeks of September to travel around the north island in a campervan. We will have our 11 month old baby with us. Does anyone have recommendations on the best campervan to travel with a bub? We have been looking at the Britz Venturer Plus as the baby seat can be fitted directly behind the driver. Any advice on where baby sleeps, whether to take a portacot, best campervan for the baby would be hugely appreciated.
Would appreciate any comments about how realistic our proposed itinerary is for a trip to South Island in late October. We fly into Wellington and plan to spend some time there before getting the interisland ferry to Picton, and then drive to end up in Christchurch, where we depart on our flight home. Flights are booked but everything else is up for discussion at present.
We have been to NZ before - in the distant past I passed through Wellington, and in Feb 2013 we spent a few nights in…
Hi guys I'm an 18 year old male who just finished high school and is getting prepared for a gap year, better said, my first time traveling alone such a long time. As a first destination I proposed New Zealand even though I know nothing about it. I've set up a 2 weeks travel to new Zealand arriving first in Auckland but I really really want to see both out and north islands, the only problem is that I've read that two weeks is not enough for this kind of travel, also one big issue is that…
I will be driving from Queenstown to Christchurch in December/January, with husband and 1.5 year old. I am having trouble deciding between driving via West coast (stopping in Wanaka, Glaciers, Hokitika, Arthurs pass) or driving via Lake Tekapo inland (stopping Wanaka, Mount Cook, Omarama). We want to keep drive time per day to a minimum and have a few 2 night stops along the way. We won't be doing an serious tramping (maybe a few short walks or kayaks and some cycling) so are looking…
