Lonely Planet review for Sheinkin
Sheinkin stands out amongst the other eggs-and-coffee joints in Auckland's CBD due to its stellar Israeli-inspired food, quality coffee and unhurried atmosphere. They do a fabulous tasting plate, soups and salads and there is plenty of glossy reading material to peruse while you wait for your bagel.

Brilliant!
milliestar recommends this,
I love this place - everything from the food, to the service, to the magazine selection, is spot on. One of the things that sets Sheinkin apart from other cafes in the area, is that no matter whether you are feeling like - a little pick me up, a hearty lunch or just a really good coffee, they will deliver. Their selection of counter food, especially the everchanging array of baked goodies, is always a treat for the tastebuds. I especially like their muffins and cakes, they are always fresh and moist, and the flavours are always different from your 'bog standard' raspberry and white chocolate.
Their lunch menu is brilliant, even if you are strapped for cash, $4 will get you two pieces of delicious chibatta toast with a generous serving of homemade strawberry jam. The menu also includes many other more "special" options, if that is what you desire. I can personally reccommend the salads, they are some of the best I have had. This place can easily become a daily haunt (as it has for me), my only word of warning is that if you come bang on lunch time you may have to wait......thats not a problem of course, as you can sit and peruse the fabulous selection of glossy magazines they always have on hand.
Sheinkin is a must visit for any traveller, a perfect pit stop when spending the day exploring Queen St or shopping in the many gorgeous boutiques in Lorne St and High St.

Love this very buzzing spot!
nztebs recommends this,
We've brunched at Sheinkin several times now, and loved it each and every time! The place is always always busy and has a lively and energising atmosphere, there's always someone sitting studying, reading or working on a computer, like they're in a home away from home. The menu offers some really different options - love the chicken salad, and the tasting plate is a wonderful way to have a little bit of everything. Service has always been quite fast, the staff welcoming, but not in-your-face.
Highly recommended, we will certainly be back!
