The Fat Camel rather optimistically promises its guests 'two humps, guaranteed', and while this may prove impossible to provide, the keen, up-for-it young staff here certainly give the impression that they'll try as hard as they can to make sure you're happy.
Another interesting aspect of the hostel is that dorms defy the usual conventions and are laid out in an apartment-style configuration. And while you'll often feel as though you're trapped in a windowless box, you'll also relish the relatively clean kitchens and bathrooms that this arrangement provides. If you're staying in a double room, plump for the top rate and score yourself a window. Your room will be noisier, but you won't feel jailed by the low ceilings and lack of natural light. The entertainment here ranges from Playstation systems for hire to a pool table and air hockey table and an on-site bar. And if all that fails and you don't get your two humps, head next door to one of the area's numerous massage parlours.
