Don't assume you'll get the ride even if you have booked in

    desireewehrle does not recommend this,

On a Friday I booked in for a jet boat ride for the upcoming Sunday for myself and a visitor to NZ from London. Her last adventure before heading back to the London winter. We showed up at least 10 minutes before our scheduled ride time to find the place locked up and no-one insight. So we hung around for 25 minutes (ie. 15 mins after our jet boat ride was supposed to have begun) and nothing. I left a message on the answer phone asking them to contact me and let me know what had happened, still no response 2 days later. They have now agreed to refund me but my London friend misses out on an activity she wanted to do (we could have gone with the other operators but we got there 10 mins after their last boat had left for the day).
