The Betico sails to Île des Pins from Noumea three times a week, docking at the wharf in beautiful Baie de Kuto. The one-way/return fare is around 4700/9400 CFP; day trips are 8200 CFP.
Air
Air Calédonie (airport 44 88 46, Kuto 44 88 50; 7.30-11am & 2-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30-11.30am Sat) flies to Île des Pins from Noumea at least twice daily. One-way/return flights cost around 8150/16, 350 CFP.
