Getting there & around
Air Calédonie has two flights a week between Noumea and Koné. There are daily buses from Noumea to Koné and Koumac. Three buses a week travel from Koumac to Poum. The gare routière (bus station; Rue Roger Trouillot) 300m from the roundabout in Koumac has schedules for buses going north to Poum and northeast to Ouegoa and Pouébo.
