The choice of hotel for UN and NGO workers, Traveller’s Village is run by a welcoming American lady (Candy) who’s lived here for 16 years. Its rooms are large, modern and spotless, and the bathrooms even have fans for the steaming-hot water.
This big old-fashioned conference hotel is set in sprawling grounds on the way to the border. The huge rooms are set around a grassy courtyard full of royal palms. It has an excellent restaurant here.
