Sun.  Lake.  Lounge chair.  Garden.  Muffins.  That just about sums the draw of this place, as it has a huge garden with lots of tables and places to lounge with a perfect view of the lake.  Pokhara has a way of turning even the warrior travelers into chillaxed pastry-gobblers and lake gazers, and that is exactly why restaurants like Boomerang exist. 
The place is really like a big garden with lots of gazebos to dine at, as well as other tables and low tables with lounge chairs.  As for the service, it is easy to get lost behind a hedge or inside a gazebo, so make sure a waiter knows you're there to take your order!
Now, I'll admit that the coffee is instant and that sometimes the baked goods are a bit dry (make sure they don't give you yesterday's batch!), but you can't have it all.  In my book, the view and the relaxing atmosphere make it worth a visit to just sit in the garden and sip tea for an afternoon.  And--try the muffins: they are the perfect complement to a good afternoon lounge.
