Lonely Planet review for Roadhouse Cafe
The big attraction here is the pizzas from the wood-fired oven. The pizzas are pretty darn good, and the decor, especially the courtyard out back, is warm and intimate. The salads, soups (tomato coconut soup), desserts (sizzling brownie with ice cream) and espresso coffees are all top-notch, though some say the service has slipped recently. Credit cards are accepted.

Awful service, dodgy milkshakes and a bill that escalates...
jgwilliams91 does not recommend this,
This is the second time I've visisted the restaurant. The service was really poor and, when we were brought milk shakes which tasted of very sour milk, they refused to accept any such problem. When the bill came it was higher than the menu prices so we sent it back. When it returned amended, it was still wrong. Although they state that they charge 10% service charge and 13% VAT, this doesn't amount to 23%. This was because they'd charged the 13% VAT on the combined price of food and added service charge. We explained that we shouldn't have to pay VAT on service charge but they refused to allow us to pay only 23% extra. I'm not being picky but it's one of those places where your bill soon escalates.
Definitely wouldn't return. I've been here for months and there are so many restaurants with better food and cheaper prices.
