This excellent restaurant and boutique brewery offers one of Swakopmund's most sought-after commodities (traditional German-style beer) as well as excellently prepared beef and seafood.

    More German than Germany

    Located in the middle of the small pedestrian area, this place is more German than Germany itself. Pictures of Prince carnival on the wall and other funny stuff. We were seated at a mixed table with other guests, and the language switched between German and English. The beer was Hansa (nothing special in Namibia). Food was great. And having fish for a change was simply wonderful after all the super size game steaks. Despite all the middle aged German tourists in safari outfit worth a warm recommendation.
