Desert Sky This centrally located backpackers' haunt is an excellent place to drop anchor in Swakopmund. The indoor lounge is simple and homy, while the outdoor picnic tables are a nice spot for a cold beer and hot conversation. The friendly owner, Lofty, offers everything you've come to expect from a well-appointed backpacker lodge: kitchen facilities, storage lockers, internet access and laundry services. Free coffee is available all day and you're within stumbling distance of the pubs.
