Lonely Planet review
Set on a breezy rise overlooking Makuti beach at the end of Avenida das FPLM, this long-standing camping ground remains popular, as does the bar-restaurant. It’s the only camping in town, and a good spot for watching the sunset. Take any chapa towards Makuti and ask them to drop you at the turnoff, from where it’s about 400m further on foot.
