Itinerary
Day 1 Casablanca
With a bustling old medina, Art-Deco buildings, contemporary art galleries and one of Africa's biggest ports, Casablanca is a city of all ages.
Day 2 Rabat/Meknes
The great walls of Rabat enclose a largely modern city with a laidback atmosphere, but there's still plenty of historic sights to remind visitors of its colourful past. A relaxed city with an array of historical sites on its doorstep, Meknes has a fascinating Old Town and wonderful labyrinthine streets.
Days 3-4 Volubilis/Fes
Dating from antiquity, Volubilis is now a site of wonderfully preserved Roman ruins near the town of Moulay Idriss. Being in Fes is like stepping back in time. Stately city walls, labyrinthine medinas and a wonderfully preserved Old City has made Fes one of Morocco's favourite destinations.
Day 5 Midelt
With a history of mining and agriculture, Midelt is a picturesque town nestled between the High and Middle Atlas mountains with many lovely, sand-coloured buildings.
Day 6 Sahara Camp
A vast sea of shifting wind-swept sand that's formed into picturesque undulating crests and valleys, the Erg Chebbi dunes are one of the world's classic landscapes.
Days 7-8 Todra Gorge
Located on the remote east side of the High Atlas Mountains, Todra Gorge is a spectacular canyon with sheer rock walls up to 300m high.
Day 9 Ait Benhaddou
Sitting on a hilltop and looking unchanged since the 11th century, Ait Benhaddou is one of Morocco's most treasured, alluring and iconic sites.
Day 10 Aroumd
Perched on a rocky outcrop, the remote village of Aroumd offers stunning views across the High Atlas Mountains and a unique opportunity to experience traditional Berber culture.
Days 11-12 Essaouira
A seaside town with undeniable charm, Essaouira's stone ramparts play host to whitewashed houses with bright blue shutters, art galleries and a picturesque harbour.
Days 13-15 Marrakech
