Lonely Planet review
Cheerfully decorated, this charming guesthouse has only four rooms and one top-floor apartment with thunderous sea views. Two rooms come with bathrooms, and there is a handy kitchen area on each floor.
With so few rooms, this is a cosy place and lends itself well to longer stays. Zimbabwean Sue lived here for six years but has moved out of her apartment to a nearby house. Her top-floor pad, now available for guests, is a treat with its wall-to-wall windows looking out on the crashing waves. It's all open plan, but the bedroom with its enormous royal red bed can be separated by a glass partition - it feels like you're living on a boat. The other rooms are not quite so glam although rooms 3 and 4 are huge. Sue has also added some nice feminine touches - fresh fruit and dates for when you arrive, a bottle of water, scented sachets in your towels and a thoughtful hot water bottle for those chilly winter nights.
