    Although not an artisan centre, Casablanca has a good choice of traditional crafts from around Morocco. The most pleasant place to shop is the picturesque Quartier Habous, south of the centre. Merchants here do little to pressure you into their shops, so it's less of an ordeal than in other places. However, the quality of crafts can be variable and hard bargaining is the order of the day.
