We're heading to Morocco for 17 days next December/January and wondering to what extent the weather that time of year will impact our itinerary. Is it reasonable to plan an overnight in the desert as well as travel in the Atlas and Rif mountains (Skoura, Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge).
In the beginning of August I'll have a flight connection with 8 hours available in Casablanca in the afternoon.
I will be my first time in Casablanca. What would be your suggestion for those 8 hours?
Visit the mosque is my obvious option, but will it be any other sights that I can enjoy during this time?
Taxi can be an option for me to go somewhere there.
My wife and I will be arriving in Casablanca Sept 3. We planned on just spending one night then proceeding to Fez. We would like to know if anyone has a hotel recommendation near the train station. We will have flown from the west coast of the US and would like to minimize transfers. Nothing fancy, just reasonable and close to the station. Thanks

Would anyone be interested in joining me for this trip across the desert? :) I'm still looking around for a camel trekking tour that is budget-friendly, but obviously the more people in a group, the cheaper it will be. If anyone would like to join me, or if anyone has…
Does anyone fancy joining me on the Jebel Sirwa Ascent and Circuit in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, later this year?
