St Tryphon Cathedral
The St Tryphon Cathedral, originally built in the 11th century, has since been reconstructed several times, due to damage by a number of severe earthquakes. The entire western front was destroyed in 1667 and the replacement stone bell towers add a baroque aspect to the building. The interior is a masterpiece of Romanesque-Gothic architecture.
