I've found this eco lodge online, but their website is no longer working. I'm really hoping to stay here this summer, and tried to call them at their contact number listed on their website, but the person who answered didn't speak English.
I was wondering if someone who speaks Montenegrin could call the number and see if this place is still open? Or does someone in Montenegro know if this place is still open? Any help would be appreciated. The number for the lodge is: Srdjan…
We were thinking of heading to the Bay of Kotor as a base but are keen swimmers and I've seen people mention here that it's not great for swimming. We're not basing our trip on swimming options and are keen to explore the country, do activities such as cycling, hiking and kayaking, visit sites of…
Just wondering if there are any beauty spots in South montenegro where you can swim in crystal clear rivers and admire mountains or canyons.
I ve heard you can do canyoneering trips from BAR,but don t really want to do anything like that organised.
I am aware there is plenty to see close to kolasin and around durmitor, but that's too far from where I am staying on the Lustica pennisula.
This is our first vacation in years and a much belated honeymoon trip so we want lots of time to drink the local wine and enjoy the view, while still seeing the sites and having some adventures. I'm working on the itinerary, and thought it would be a good idea to post what I have to get advice from the forum on whether this sounds doable/advisable and to get any alternative suggestions. I want to build in enough time so that we're not rushing from place to place every day (although it's hard…
i will be staying on this penisula for a week or two and was wondering if it is possible to get to the blue grotto cave whilst on the pennisula? i believe most trips go from herceg novi, and finish up at zanijice beach which is close to where i am staying.it would be a shame to have to drive all the way there to get a boat to a cave close to where i am staying.............

Day 2: Kayaking tour in the bay
Day 3: Perast + Kotor
Day 4: Kotor + heading to Cetinje through Lovcen NP
Day 5: Heading to Zabljak + Ostrog Monastery + Durmitor NP
Day 6: Durmitor NP
We're going to Montenegro in June and would love some advice to maximize our time. We're flying into Dubrovnik and renting a car. We've got 8 days/9 nights.
Question: Where do we base ourselves, given the relatively short length of the trip? Should we stay in one spot (more relaxing) or should we move around accommodation-wise (see more of the country but will be less-relaxing)? We're likely using air bnb.
Fly into Dubrovnik
Rent car, drive to Kotor - stay here for 4 nights
My boyfriend are going to Montenegro in July August for 10 days, flying in an out of Dubrovnik.
Does anyone have advise on if we need a rental car to get around, or if places are easy accessible by public transportation?
We would like to spend a couple of days at Tara River, and except from that we do not have any plans yet. Any recommendations on places and time duration each place?
