Chigistei Restaurant information
Lonely Planet review
A large restaurant with retro-Soviet decor and mostly Mongolian dishes. No English menu, although if the English-speaking owner, Tuya, is around she'll talk you through it. Dishes include sharsan za-gas (fried fish from Khar Nuur), sharsan makhtei moog (fried meat with mushroom), bif-stek (meat patty served with mashed potato and salad) and tsuiven (fried noodles).
