In most cities, travellers tend to overlook the restaurants and bars set inside hotels, or only eat at the hotel in which they are staying. Ulaanbaatar, however, has a number of excellent restaurants and bars, privately owned and managed, inside the city's top end hotels. Delhi Darbar is an Indian restaurant in Puma Imperial worth checking out.

    Very poor quality for ridiculous prices

    Do NOT EAT here. The food is never fresh. Prices are high, service bad. Do NOT even try and smoke the Waterpipe (Shisha, Hookah) here. I got a serious infection on my lips from it!!!

    STAY AWAY FROM THESE IDIOTS!!!

    Hello everyone and owners of the Delhi Darbar in UB. There is a branch of Delhi Darbar restaurant in Puma Imperial Hotel in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (next to Government Palace or Main square of Ulaanbaatar). At first I would like to say my thanks to the owner(s) of the Delhi darbar restaurant. We can taste delicious Indian foods there. However workers (waiters and maids) of the restaurant degrade the reputation of the restaurant. On 13 January, 2010 I had dinner their with my colleague. Waiters tried to cheat us on extra budget, eventually they insulted and shouted to us. We are very upset on that. Dear owner of the restaurant, please take it into your consideration. Travellers and guests to Mongolia please be careful to be served by the branch of Delhi Darbar restaurants near to Sukhbaatar square or in Puma Imperial hotel. I apologize to tell about that. But I would like to warn you about some false services in Mongolia caused by some ignorant and dishonest Mongolians. Good luck!!
